Ela kizhi
In this unique procedure, warm bolus prepared out of medicated leaves cooked in herbal oil is applied on the affected part or the whole body. It is effective in pain management and is used to treat arthritis, spondylosis, frozen shoulder, neurological problems and sports injuries.

Nadi Sweda(Steam Formentation)
Nadi sweda is a procedure in which localized perspiration is induced on the affected part of the patient by directing vapors coming out of a tube attached to a special instrument. It relieves localized pain, swelling, numbness or stiffness affecting any body part.

Kati Vasthy
It is a type of local perspiration where warm medicated oil is retained inside a boundary made with black gram flour on the low back region for a specific period of time. As a result, sweating is induced and it promotes strength to the muscles of the back, relieves sciatic pain and stiffness in lumbar and sacral region.

Greeva Vasthy
This therapy is carried out similar to Kati basti but in the cervical region. A boundary is made with herbal paste and suitable warm oil is retained in it for a prescribed period of time. It relieves pain in neck region and promotes strength.

Janu Vasthy

This therapy is done like Kati basti where suitable warm medicated oil is retained on the affected knee inside a boundary made with herbal paste for certain period of time. This procedure is similar to Kati Basti but done in the knees. It relieves pain in knee joints, prevents degenerative changes like in osteoarthritis, thus promoting knee strength.

Urovasthy(Hridaya vasthy)
Uro Vasthy is also called as ‘Hridaya  vasthy’. The medicated oil is retained on the chest wall which gives a positive influence on the heart chakra which in turn has a beneficial effect on the mind and giving a strengthening effect to the heart muscle. This therapy nourishes, strengthens, balances heart function and rejuvenates the heart through Hridaya marma.
